The Constellation—Sally Ride Science CONVERSATIONS, a series of dialogues with women in science, technology, engineering, and math throughout the UC system.

We take an intimate look at the lives and work of eminent female scientists and engineers through their own words . . . What were they like as girls? Who inspired them? What did they study in college, and why? What challenges have they faced? How do they balance work with the rest of their lives? And what are their goals for the future?

The achievements of these remarkable women show why it is so important to have diverse perspectives and voices in our scientific community. We hope these stories will inspire a new generation of girls and boys to embrace STEM studies and master the skills they need to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
