UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies launches the Sally Ride Science Junior Academy in 2016. The annual summer program offers dozens of STEAM workshops for grades 4-12. The academy goes online in 2020; this year’s academy, from July 12 to August 6, will also be virtual.
