Library NExT (Network of Education x Training) is a series of workshops for elementary, middle and high school students on topics including robotics, circuits, Quest for Space: Heat Experiments on the ISS and 64 + other STEAM subjects. Initially started as a pilot program at six San Diego libraries in 2017, it has expanded to 21 locations in 2020 with plans to be offered at all City of San Diego library locations. This San Diego Public Library program is a collaboration with UC San Diego Extension and Sally Ride Science.

STEAM classes offered...
The Library NExT (Network of Education x Training) program features classes about topics such as robotics, circuits, “messy” science, 3D modeling and college planning. It started as a pilot program in six San Diego libraries in early 2017 and will be expanding to more branches throughout the city.
