Level: Grades 6 to 8
In this free Library NExT workshop, middle school students will light up Valentine’s Day by making their own simple soft circuits using foam sheets, felt sheets, LEDs, resistors, coin batteries, and copper tape. Students will learn the basics of series circuits as they build a Valentine’s Day heart-shaped bow or pin with red or pink lights to take home.
