This free Library NExT class provides hands-on learning activities for middle school students, including the opportunity to design structures and test their resiliency. Students explore phenomena such as tsunamis, landslides, permafrost, glaciers, and sea-level rise. They learn why and how things ooze, what makes an explosion, and the hidden reason why some things can spin and others cannot. Come prepared to make a mess.
This Messy Science workshop will focus on the slime stream table and the hydrologic cycle.
